Graduation of the First Batch of Master's Students
The Commission for Controlling the Desert Locust in the Central Region extends its deepest congratulations on the graduation of the first batch of master's students in the field of Desert Locust Management. This cohort has completed their academic program with outstanding performance at the Hassan II Institute of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine in Agadir, Morocco, as part of the scholarship funded by the Commission which began in 2023.
The Commission's Secretariat expresses its hope that this academic degree will contribute to enhancing the graduates' capabilities to manage desert locust control operations in their countries with greater efficiency and effectiveness. The Secretariat also calls upon decision-makers in locust control units in the countries concerned to take the necessary measures to benefit from the expertise of these graduates in developing desert locust management operations.
