A Commission for Controlling Desert Locust

The Commission for Controlling the Desert Locust in the Central Region (CRC) serves as a vital force against desert locust infestations by implementing the preventive control strategy in collaboration with relevant authorities in member countries. With 17 member states, this Commission stands as the largest of FAO's three regional locust control bodies, founded on principles of coordination and mutual cooperation.
