Drones for Desert Locust Monitoring

The FAO Desert Locust Commissions is supporting the availability of potential use of drones for Desert Locust (DL) monitoring, within the context of Desert Locust early warning and preventive control systems. The use of drones could be a potential means to improve locust monitoring, early warning, rapid control and reduce inspection and prevention costs.
