A training course of Training of Trainers (ToT) is planned to be held from 13 – 17 and 20-24 January 2014, 28 Desert Locust officers and plant protection specialist will attend the training course. The course will cover all aspects related to Desert Locust biology, survey and control operations, information exchange used of eLocust2 and Global Positioning System (GPS), by theoretical lectures and field demonstration. The training course will conduct at two places (Zeway and D/Berehan) by national master trainer Mrs. Hiwot lemma and Mr. Zebdewos Salato.
