SAUDI ARABIA, July 2020
The general situation of the Desert Locust in the Kingdom is calm and this is the usual case during the summer period due to the unfavorable conditions for locust activity. The case of. preparedness remains for any sudden change in the status of the Desert Locust, especially in the south-west coast areas, which receives good rains, that allows for local Desert Locust activity, or groups and small swarms invading from Yemen as they moving west towards their coast.
