Desert Locust Situation in OMAN during Septeber 2014
The Desert Locust situation continued to remain calm during September. Survey operations were carried out South East of Adam between Wadi Halfayn (221800N573551E) and Wadi Shabah (221908N574051E), Dakhiliya Region, in Khaburah (2353N5659E) and Jam’a (2333N5733E),Battinah Region and in Musandam (2554N5616E) Governorate, no presence of locust was recorded in the surveyed areas and no locust has been reported from other Regions in the country.
