EGYPT, September, 2020

Desert locust situation continued to be calm in September. Surveys were conducted near Abu Ramad, Shalatyn, Hamata, Baraneice and El Sheikh El-Shazly, and in the southwest near Alaqi, Toshka and Abu-Simbel, covering a total survey area of 3528 ha. No locusts were seen at all areas except for low density adults seen at few sites west of Halaib and Abu-Ramad
