The Commission for Controlling the Desert Locust in the Central Region (CRC) was established in 1965 and came into force 1967 within the framework of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO-UN). CRC consist of 16 Member States (Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, United Arab Emirates and Yemen)
