Strengthen the Regional Solidarity

During Desert Locust emergencies, all national, regional and international efforts are required, however regional solidarity and multilateral cooperation are the key factors that provide the needed, useful and timely support to the affected countries. Thanks are due to government of Saudi Arabia that awarded 1.5 million USD, to overcome the severe Desert Locust outbreak of 2019, and to the United Arab Emirates for its contribution to support locust operation in Eretria with 1 million dollars.
