CRC is giving high attention to the improvement of capacities of national locust control staff on safety and precaution measures, human and environmental health standards during control operations and encourages the member states to select and appoint specialized teams from the national environmental protection agencies to the control campaigns to monitor the level of contamination of workers, local population and the environment if any.
