Drones for Desert Locust Monitoring

The FAO Desert Locust Commissions support to use the drones for Desert Locust (DL) monitoring within Desert Locust early warning and preventive control strategy. The use of drones will improve locust monitoring, early warning and rapid control. Recently Sudan started uses the drones for the survey and detection favourable habitat for Desert Locust breeding areas.
